RTFTRTR | The Ride to Forget The Ride To Remember
Long ago in BBSC lore, there existed a trip, shall we say a "Ride to Remember". It was so unbearable to remember that the following trip was a trip to forget that "Ride to Remember". Thus began the annual trip of RTFTRTR for all intrepid Bees members. Every summer we choose a new destination to enjoy exploring on two wheels and best of all, with good friends. If you're ever curious about that first Ride to Remember, be sure to ask Dave Hurtado. It's worth the listen.
2026 is Yellowstone National Park! More details to come!

Lodging Options: We'll be basecamped in West Yellowstone. Many in the club prefer to group together and we are currently (as of October 3rd) looking to stay at an RV park in the area. There are other options at our near West Yellowstone. Unfortunately, this area is a premium location so lodging is much higher than other RTFTRTR.
What if I want to stay longer? Heck ya, do it! Emily plans to extend her trip by an extra day and will return home on Monday, August 10th.Â
Drive or Ride to Yellowstone? That's up to you! Most will probably trailer up since it's almost 5 hours directly north on I-15. Some may have extra room on their trailers if you need help transporting your scooter.
How much riding are we doing? Each day we'll be riding into the park from West Yellowstone. Just to the main Yellowstone loop, it's 14.7 miles. This could take longer with traffic jams. We expect to be riding 100-150 miles per day. If you're really ambitious, you can take the 142 mile Yellowstone Loop in its entirety!
What about park fees? Yellowstone is $30 for motorcycle/scooter, $35 for vehicle, and $80 for the America the Beautiful Pass. This is good for your whole trip.
What if my scooter is only a 125cc or it's a little on the slower side? This is a slow-going park, we won't be reaching speeds higher than 50 mph at most. You may only want to go fast to avoid a bison.
Will it be hot? It will be more temperate at this time of year. It will be warm in the day and cool down in the evenings. You will want to be prepared to be away all day with some layers of clothing and some rain gear too.
Do I need to worry about the Bison on a scooter? We are in their territory. Be mindful of your surroundings and as a rule of thumb, give all animals the right away and a good deal of distance so they don't feel threatened. You will be fine if you adhere to keeping your distance and being mindful of your surroundings.
